On behalf of the Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) we invite you to participate in a family safety consultation workshop in Sydney in February.
The Agency is holding workshops in each state and territory to seek input from key stakeholders that support people experiencing family and domestic violence, including representatives from health jurisdictions, and key consumer peak bodies and community organisations.
These workshops will provide an overview of the recent My Health Record legislation changes relating to domestic and family violence, and an opportunity for participants to understand the work underway through the Agency’s Family Safety Program. There will also be an interactive session designed to seek input from participants to guide the Agency in its development of tailored education and communication materials to support consumers to use the My Health Record effectively and safely, and provide guidance to organisations that support people experiencing domestic and family violence.
Please feel free to extend this invitation to key stakeholders and consumer groups if they would like to attend. One representative from each organisation is requested to keep the group size to a manageable level for effective group discussion.
The workshop will be held on the below date and time:
Date: Wednesday, 13 February 2019
Time: 9:00AM – 12:30PM
Location: Karstens, 111 Harrington St, The Rocks NSW
